Thank you for your interest in the 21st Annual Florida Classic Sponsored by Ford, AT&T, BB&T and Breakthru Beverage to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Set for November 18-19, 2016 in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this exciting event features two days of fun-filled sporting and social events that attract prominent businesspeople, charitable benefactors, and sports enthusiasts from around South Florida and across the country.

Festivities commence Friday, November 18 with a top-notch golf tournament held at the exclusive Fort Lauderdale Country Club.  Next is the sailfish tournament's Angler Welcome Party and Captains' Meeting, followed by a chic BeachBash known as the "sexiest party of the year", both held at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.  Saturday, November 19 begins with a sailfish tournament and the tournament awards reception, and concludes with the dazzling 65 Roses Gala hosted at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.  

Since its inception 21 years ago, the Florida Classic has netted nearly $7.5 million to help support the CF Foundation's research and care programs leading to the development of new drug therapies and an increase in median life expectancy for CF patients.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has unrestricted financial reserves of about 13 times its budgeted annual expenses, following a one-time royalty sale in 2014. These funds, along with the public's continued support, are needed to help accelerate our efforts to pursue a lifelong cure for this fatal disease, develop lifesaving new therapies, and help all people with CF live full, productive lives.
